4th Regional Energy Conference

The EmPowerPlan team recently took part in the 4th Regional Energy Conference of the Oderland-Spree practice region at the Old Town Hall in Fürstenwalde. Under the motto "Utilising the opportunities of the energy transition - shaping the future together", we presented our project, which aims to drive forward the energy transition in the region. A central component of our project is an interactive planning tool that enables participants to explore various scenarios for the expansion of renewable energies and contribute their questions and impressions on regional development.

After an introductory presentation of our project, the participants were given the opportunity to Interactive planning tool live. Based on the official planning templates and criteria of the regional planning community, they were able to play through their own scenarios for the expansion of renewable energies. The tool offers an intuitive user interface and enables users to visualise and discuss their ideas and visions for the regional energy transition. We were delighted with the enthusiastic feedback and constructive discussions that took place during the conference.

The conference also offered the opportunity to gain insights into other exciting projects and developments in the region. The various presentations and discussions broadened our horizons and strengthened our commitment to a sustainable energy future.

The regional Planning tool can now be used by all interested parties. We invite everyone to explore the tool and play an active role in shaping the regional energy transition.
