Aim and methodology of the future workshop

Together with you and relevant stakeholders from the administration and local transport companies, we would like to analyse various formats of cross-district communication and cooperation and work out their respective advantages.

The workshop follows the methodology of the future workshop and comprises three phases:

• Critique phase - analysing the initial situation
• Vision phase - development of ideal solutions
• Realisation phase - consolidation of the results and preparation for implementation

Our aim is to develop effective and sustainable long-term cooperation in the Elbe Valley and to develop sustainable solutions for mobility in the region.

Outlook

As part of the opening of the future workshops in December 2024, further thematic priorities for the "Mobile Elbe Valley" project have already been defined in addition to cross-district cooperation. We will address the future viability of public transport, the opportunities of automation for improving mobility and the Elbe as a connecting element of the region. These topics will also be explored in greater depth in subsequent future workshops in the first half of the year.
