Maren Eickhoff has been a junior researcher in the "Health & Wellbeing" research field at the IZT since February 2023. Prior to this, she completed a research internship at the institute and supported Michaela Evers-Wölk as part of a project to establish an interdisciplinary and multigenerational centre of excellence.
She is completing her Master's degree in Futures Studies (M. A.) at the Free University of Berlin. There, she deals with possible and desirable futures of a pluralistic society, the transformation potential of images of the future as well as participatory future design.
From 2019-2022, Maren was involved in setting up a non-profit organisation that reduces language barriers in the health sector through telephone interpreting, enabling patients to receive care on an equal footing.
She studied economics and social sciences in Dortmund, Dublin and Berlin.
Starting with her training as an event manager, Maren Eickhoff gained in-depth professional experience in the field of marketing as well as project and event management.
