Kathrin Gegner has been working as a research associate at the IZT in the research area "Resources, Economies and Resilience" since October 2021.
From 2018 to 2021, she worked as an environmental engineer specialising in water management at a civil engineering planning office in Würzburg.
She studied Environmental Engineering at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna, and before that Social Sciences at the University of Stuttgart and Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of St. Andrews (UK).
