Niclas Kollhoff has been working as a research assistant in the research field since March 2025 Education and digital media.
In 2024, he completed the part-time Master's degree programme Futurology at the Free University of Berlin. In his Master's thesis, he analysed the extent to which future-oriented skills are anchored in the Berlin framework curricula.
His first Master's degree, the Master of Education for the teaching profession in the subjects of maths and business-work-technology at the University of Bremen in 2015. He then completed his traineeship as a teacher for secondary schools and grammar schools in Berlin. Niclas Kollhoff has been working as a teacher in Berlin since 2017. He has worked as a subject and class teacher and as a year group leader.
In his freelance work, he develops workshop formats to promote Futures Literacy with pupils. He was also a student assistant at the Institut Futur in the project ESD for 2030 involved in a document analysis that analysed the anchoring of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in the central documents of the German education system.
