The aim of the joint project "The interactive organisation - methods and models for healthy and productive work in e-business (INTERORG)" was to work with research and company partners to develop and test model strategies and solutions for optimal work and organisational design when introducing and using e-business. The aim was to design the workplace and range of activities in a humane way, even under the conditions of increasing innovation dynamics.

The project focussed on

  • The identification of company-relevant improvement requirements for optimised e-business-supported process design,
  • the definition of fields of application and the determination of suitable technical and organisational solutions,
  • the creation of innovation-friendly conditions in the company through flexible, people-orientated structures and processes that promote value creation,
  • the creation of solutions for personnel development in line with requirements and for maintaining and expanding the employability of the labour force.

As part of the INTERORG joint project, the IZT worked on the sub-project "Opportunities for women in e-business". The aim was to ensure that the principle of gender mainstreaming was specifically taken into account in all areas of the project.
"Gender mainstreaming involves the systematic inclusion of the respective situation, priorities and needs of women and men in all fields of action. With a view to promoting equality between women and men, all general concepts and measures must be geared towards this goal.
