At the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) 2017 in Berlin, environmental education was writ large. At the IGA Campus, organised by the Green League Berlin, future workshops with school classes also took place between 4 and 6 October 2017. Staff from the IZT and the Robert Jungk Library Salzburg moderated the five events. This creative method from futurology opens up spaces for imaginative problem solving and learning processes. At the same time, future workshops promote democratic participation and co-design: committed pupils, for example, designed projects on nutrition or waste recycling in the future workshops, which they continue in their schools.
