The IZT supported the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in drafting the German government's 15th Development Policy Report on the future of development policy. To this end, an interdepartmental workshop was held in July 2016 at the GIZ Representative Office in Berlin on the topic of "Global Trends and Scenarios: Compass Agenda 2030". The workshop served to involve the various federal ministries in the consultation process for the preparation of the 15th Development Policy Report at an early stage.
