International research network for the management of social-ecological aspects in companies
The aim was to establish a lively platform for an intensive exchange of content and methods within an international framework, thereby strengthening the IZT and its research expertise and anchoring it even more firmly in the scientific field.
In this international project, the IZT joined forces with a total of nine universities and research institutions from Belgium, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden and the USA. The focus was on an intensive exchange of information and the further development of various methods for managing socio-ecological aspects in companies. One methodological focus was on the sustainable value approach. The aim was to establish a lively platform for an intensive exchange of content and methods in an international context, thereby strengthening the IZT and its research expertise and anchoring it even more firmly in the scientific field.
The project included the following activities, among others:
- Realisation of several research workshops,
- Publication of specialised articles and special issues of professional journals,
- Exchange of scientists and guest residencies,
- Realisation of special streams at specialist conferences,
- Realisation of a Research Summer School,
- Conference participation,
- Development and publication of case studies on decision-making conflicts in corporate sustainability
