More and more young people are interested in climate and nature conservation, and many also want to make a professional contribution to an ecological future. The IZT therefore organised work camps for young people under the motto "go green!" workcamps for young people for professional orientation in the fields of event organisation and sanitation, heating and air conditioning. 

The workcamps opened up experiential spaces to develop ideas for their own professional future and explore the possibilities of "greening the professions". The focus was on skilled trades and other apprenticeships. 

The work camps thus involved the young people in the discussion about the future development of the world of work. After all, the world of work and labour is undergoing major changes triggered by the ecologically sustainable transformation of society. Climate, resource and nature conservation must be considered in every profession today. At the same time, they offer many interesting and lucrative fields of activity and business worldwide.
