Abstract

The learning unit "My appearance as a company" deals with the relevant aspects of personal and media-based customer acquisition and customer information that future building energy consultants should know. In your later professional practice as a building energy consultant, you will have lively contact with your customers. Many of your clients will inform themselves about you and your company by using the internet or other media such as brochures. Therefore, it is of central importance how you present yourself as a company. In addition to your professional advisory skills, the impression you leave on your customers is not insignificant for your professional success. This small guidebook is intended to provide you with the essential basic rules regarding the presentation of your company. The technical content of the energy consultation and the consultation interview are not the subject of this learning unit. This learning unit is intended to give you hints for critical reflection.
