Abstract
The "Agro-Northwest Transformation Roadmap - Perspectives for Agricultural Technology 2050", which was developed in cooperation with various stakeholders from science, agricultural practice and innovators, provides orientation with a long-term time horizon. The interplay of forecasting (driver and discourse analysis) and backcasting (transformation scenarios with imagined futures) was used to identify potential for change in order to derive and evaluate future requirements, new technologies and possible future markets. The transformation roadmap is intended to help improve understanding of the transformation processes and ultimately create a medium and long-term orientation framework for research, development and innovation. The cooperative, inter- and transdisciplinary approach of roadmapping is intended to open up a holistic view of transformation processes in agriculture and a specific entrepreneurial perspective.
