Abstract

The report deals with autonomous field robots for weed control and takes a look at the assessments and requirements of farmers and contractors as potential users of this technology. In a focus group as well as in numerous interviews, it was determined which advantages the (potential) users expect from the use of field robots, but also which disadvantages are seen. The focus was also on the question of how the technology can be integrated into existing utilisation systems and what deficits and obstacles there are that should be addressed in technology development.
