Energy Efficient City Competition
Abstract
In 2008, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) launched the "Energy Efficient City" competition, which honoured the cities of Delitzsch, Essen, Magdeburg, Stuttgart and Wolfhagen in 2011. They are realising their concepts together with partners from science and practice. This series of publications documents the approaches and results. This third volume deals with methods and models that promote energy efficiency at municipal level. This volume focuses on the topics of the overall urban system, existing buildings, mobility, stakeholders and services.
