Abstract

Billions of years ago, the earth was a glowing hot ball. The earth has slowly cooled down on the surface, but it is still very hot inside.
Geothermal energy utilises this geothermal heat to generate energy. In certain regions, hot water springs bubble up from the earth and are used for thermal baths. In Iceland and America, there are hot springs with fountains called geysers.
Can you imagine that geothermal energy can be used with modern technology to heat our homes? In this online course, we will tell you how to utilise the heat in the earth's interior and how to bring the heat from deep underground to the surface.
