Partial report on the R&D project "Strategies for the Reduction of Particulate Matter Pollution - PAREST".
Abstract
In the PAREST1 research project, emission scenarios up to 2020 for particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5) and the aerosol precursors SO2, NOx, NH3 and NMVOC were created for Germany and Europe, mitigation measures were evaluated and the PM immission load for Germany was modelled from them. In this PAREST sub-report, the energy scenarios used for PAREST are presented.
