Evaluation of selected measures for the energy transition
Abstract
With the Energy Concept for an Environmentally Friendly, Reliable and Affordable Energy Supply, the Federal Government has developed a comprehensive strategy for the conversion to a highly efficient and renewable energy system in Germany. To achieve the associated goals, a large number of both cross-sectoral and sector-specific measures have already been newly introduced or existing instruments of German energy and climate policy have been adapted in recent years (laws and ordinances, instruments for the expansion of renewable energies, funding programmes for energy-efficient building refurbishment, CO2 strategies in transport and funding programmes for energy research).
