Abstract

The 21st century needs visions - stories of better lifestyles, stories about a successful future. The development of a sustainable society is already being driven by successful projects today: Responsible entrepreneurs, creative school administrators, student start-ups and citizens are using their scope for action to develop groundbreaking and sustainable economic strategies and lifestyles. The FUTURZWEI Future Almanac presents their stories and thus provides role models for sustainable economic and life models and shows that counter-designs to the current guiding culture of growth and waste can be fun. The focus topic Mobility paints a picture of our lives in the middle of the 21st century in surprising scenarios.
