Abstract

In my work "The Science Society - From Galileo to the High-Tech Revolution" (Kreibich 1986), I argued that "science and technology" is the central productive and innovative force of industrial society. With the development of modern experimental-analytical and mathematical-formalised science, man has created for himself a highly efficient method to pursue the process of innovating in a targeted and planned manner. It was the invention of the method of inventing.
