Abstract

Radiated nuclear waste, rising sea levels, escalating national debt: We are living at the expense of our children. Time for an ethic that takes into account the rights of future generations. The Foundation for the Rights of Future Generations demands that our new way of thinking must also go beyond what is today described as an ecological crisis. Together with sociologists, lawyers, philosophers and economists, it develops concrete concepts for different areas of society and politics. In this way, a political programme for a world that is fair to all generations emerges from the reflection on ethical principles.
