Abstract

With the breakthrough of the World Wide Web, the internet has developed into a service-integrating global network with a multitude of media applications. The mobile internet is triggering another wave in the digital media world. This is also noticeable in terms of the environment. Googling, gaming, chatting, streaming, downloading - information and communication technology (ICT) is causing an ever-increasing ecological rucksack. This makes sustainable media use all the more important.
