Abstract

In view of dynamic environmental conditions, monitoring technological, economic, political and social developments is becoming increasingly important for the innovation success of companies. The author explores the question of how sustainability requirements can be integrated into innovation processes at an early stage. The concept of the Integrated Technology Roadmap focuses on the user perspective and makes it possible to simultaneously consider several dimensions of sustainable business in dynamic technology fields.
