Abstract

In the new roadmap - Water and Wastewater - market segments that were identified as important and promising for the future were further deepened, including the focus areas of seawater desalination, drinking water production from wastewater, pharmaceutical residues and other trace substances in wastewater, risk management: protection of critical water infrastructures, sewer network management, energetic sewage sludge utilisation and recovery of phosphorus from sewage sludge.
