Abstract
The learning unit "Stocktaking / Natural Lighting" explains the importance of natural lighting or the use of daylight in buildings, how the amount of (natural) lighting is determined and classified, and which factors, regulations and standards are taken into account. In technical and scientific literature, the terms natural lighting and natural lighting systems are often used synonymously. Here, the term natural lighting has been chosen.
