Abstract

How can a green economy be organised in Germany? How can the socio-ecological transformation succeed despite all path dependencies and obstacles? And which factors are decisive for this at the various levels and fields such as mobility, resource conservation or the energy-efficient refurbishment of buildings?
Based on the results of a three-year research project by adelphi, the Borderstep Institute and the Institute for Futures Studies and Technology Assessment, the contributors to this volume develop options for action for the overarching transition to a green economy and open up perspectives for politics and business.
