Position paper on the use of participatory methods in sustainability and transformation studies
Abstract
This position paper was initiated by the participants of the workshop discussion "Participation", which took place on 4 and 5 October 2018 at the artec Research Centre of the University of Bremen. In a multi-stage discussion process with other social scientists researching participation, the formulated theses and recommendations were concretised. The aim is to advocate for a stronger social science foundation of participation in research projects and in the call for research funding.
