Abstract

Technological, economic, ecological and political parameters create the prerequisites for the integration of electric vehicles into the smart energy grid of tomorrow. This paper shows what role electric vehicles can play in a future energy system and which services will be relevant in this context. Innovative services and business models that harmonise technical conditions, energy system requirements and user needs can contribute significantly to the implementation of electromobility in the smart energy grid. This is less about the further development of existing services and more about the development of high-quality services that drive the transformation to electromobility.
