New publication by Springer-Verlag

As part of the research project Bio-Mo-D new results have been published in the Springer essentials book series. This series offers knowledge in a compact form and is dedicated to current topics in generally understandable language.

The publication ''The future of economic reporting. Ecosystem services and biodiversity in government and corporate accounting'' provides an introduction to the topic of natural capital accounting and shows how the value of ecosystem services and biodiversity can be better integrated and documented in national reports and company balance sheets in the interests of honest accounting.

Authors are Karsten Grunewald (IÖR), Roland Zieschank (IZT), Johannes Förster, Bernd Hansjürgens and Tobias M. Wildner (UFZ).
