Abstract

As part of the SYSKREIS project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Technology, a network of six medium-sized companies was established for the marketing of use-optimised system solutions for office management. As a central element, utilisation concepts were developed with two objectives in mind. They had to be cycle-capable and contain innovative service approaches for all stages of the product life cycle in order to be able to tap economic and ecological potentials. Taking into account current development trends and probable future developments, existing product ideas and service approaches were further developed in a targeted manner in order to be able to react as early as possible to changes in demand and user behaviour and thus meet future market requirements. Specific leasing and service models for the circular economy were developed, which create the conditions for an increase in useful life and intensity and guarantee that the products used end up in refurbishment or proper disposal at the end of a use phase. To implement suitable organisational structures for order processing and the coordination of the cross-sectoral association, an internet-based pilot solution was developed that enables simple communication and deliberately avoids complicated features. At the same time, the system has a modular structure so that it can be easily expanded at a later date, e.g. by adding new companies. The IT structure can be further developed into an e-commerce solution for the sale of benefits in the future.
