Abstract

An online course on the topic of bioenergy / small-scale combustion systems was created for professional development. One target group is engineers and architects who have knowledge of the planning, installation and maintenance of conventional systems, but want to acquire or deepen additional knowledge in the subject area. Another target group are craftsmen who want to take their master craftsmen's courses. The aim is to develop a further education format in which self-determined practice-oriented learning is combined with face-to-face events. After an introduction, the learners are to acquire the learning content independently. In the classroom event, learning is then checked, knowledge is deepened and the knowledge is tested in practice.
