Abstract

Internationally renowned scholars from various disciplines, including Kurt Flasch, Etienne Francois, Ansgar Schmidt and Martin Held, approach the topic of time. From the perspectives of the natural sciences and the humanities, we will first clarify what time is and then discuss how it is and should be dealt with. It all boils down to the question of whether we are capable of living decelerated.
